My bf and I love this spot! We do the bring your own pot for BBH and get our Instant Pot filled to the brim for $30 cash! The broth comes with meatballs (sooo good - I’ve always wondered if they sell these on their own??? I would definitely purchase), beef and pork leg I believe? and they provide noodles, bean sprouts, lime, chili, chili oil/sauce on the side. This is great to feed a large number of people!

This is the place you take your own pot. First off it's off 17th Ave and behind the street facing plaza. You have to go inside the plaza to order. When you bring your order, they fill it up with soup and meat balls. Then they give you noodles, sprouts, onions, basil leaves and hot sauces. I ordered for 4 people was charged $20 and I could easily feed twice as many people. The most important part it's delicious. The soup is comparable to the best. What makes this the winner is the ability to bring your own pot and the price. Absolutely the pick for bun ho hue in Calgary.

I brought a pot to buy the Bun Bo Hue to share with my family. A pot for 6 people costs $35. I thought that was a great deal. The bun bon hue package comes with the noodles, bean sprouts, mint, lime, chili sauce, meat balls, and cooked beef! Definitely top notch quality too!

Bring your own pot is super value for the price! It is not the most refined pho out there. But I will definitely come again.

Terrific, weird hole in the wall type place. In 'Little Saigon' Forest lawn, which has a constellation of great Vietnamese restaurants. You have to actually enter the mall and walk past the dining area to what seems like another lease to order your food. Then you return to the other area to await your food. I just had the house special bun Bo hue (noodle/beef/Hue style) and it was very good. Excellent broth, unusually good beef balls. Maybe a little skimpy on the noodles for some tastes but if you ask for extra they bring you enough for 3 meals for an extra 1,5$. Additionally, you can bring your own pot from home and they will load it up for takeout. Very inexpensive and popular, judging by the 5 or 6 people I saw come I to the mall bearing cookware while I ate my soup. Awkward and delicious. Try it.

Solid bun bo hue spot. It is cash only. This is a no fuss type of establishment (you go here strictly for the food not the service which is why they can keep food prices low). You have to go over the deli counter to put in your order and then go back to the other side to grab a table. They also do take out but the minimum order is $20 which comes with the noodles, herbs, fixings and the broth (it's better if you bring your own pot). I find that the $20 pot usually serves four decent bowls of bun bo hue. You can order takeout in denominations of $10 with a minimum amount of $20. When I have 10 people over for dinner; I usually grab a $50 pot and we always have some leftovers.

Excellent place for Bun Bo Hue and very excellent value for what you pay for. You have the choice of either dining in or take out. If you choose to take it home, you can either bring a pot with you and they'll ask how many people you want to feed and they'll fi up your pot accordingly. They'll package the noodles, veggies and sauces in a separate bag. If you don't bring a pot, they'll give you a bucket for an additional $3.

The best bun bo hue, probably in Alberta. The broth is that balance between savoury but somehow light. The meatballs are made in house and are fluffy with a burst of porky goodness. The bring your own pot is amazing value. Feed a dozen people for 5 bucks each.

The bring your own pot is a hidden gem. For a minimum of $20 or more you can bring home delicious Vietnamese noodle soup. They also have a dine in area if you want to eat there at great prices. They are better than Pho Dao Bo and Noodle World that is located in the same strip mall, but facing 17th Ave. They are hidden on the backside of the strip mall just steps away. You know the soup is made with real ingredients when it turns to jello in the fridge! Every thing included for $20 you just can't beat that. Fed 4 of us the first day and another 2 bowls the next day with broth still left over the 3rd day. And I still wasn't sick of it. I would drive 3 hrs again for this soup ❤️ best bbh I've had in Calgary and Edmonton area

My friends and I just went to Calgary for a trip, and when returning, we were prepared and brought our tall stock pot to this wonderful place. It's a hidden jem that sells very good Bun Bo Hue for take out. They provided all the essentials and the broth isn't spicy but they provided chili and chili oil for your spicy preference. It was sealed nicely by the owner and it made it back to Edmonton. For the value, you cannot go wrong. Selling in increments of $5 and they said that $30 would feed 6-7 people.

Decent Bun Bo Hue rice-noodle soup for take out, but for even more taste frequently would augment items from local grocery such as fried tofu or Hot Pot pre-sliced meat, or Vietnamese sausage.

It's the best noodle soup in town. Way better than Pho Hoai (aka Stinky Mall) in Chinatown. Trust me, this place has been around for a long time and only the locals know it. It'll be the cheapest and the best noodle soup you get in North America, let alone comparing even to the noodle soup from the region where this noodle soup where it originated from in central Vietnam.

It's a shame I never learned to cook Bun Bo Hue (BBH) from my mother. .. who cares!!? I can come here and pick up a POT for $30 (cash). It's enough to feed at least 4 adults and comes with the noodles, broth, meat and veggies! I gave it 4 stars only because I can't un-see someone touching my noodles with their hands....the food is 5 star though!

Having tried their offering at a few get togethers, we decided to bring their soup to a large family meal. It's pretty straight forward, bring your own pot, and they fill it up based in the number of people you want to feed. Price starts at $20 for 4 servings, and goes up in $5 increments. If you forget your own pot, they offer plastic tubs you use with a $3 deposit. It comes with soup, meat, noodles, bean sprouts, and some onions/limes for garnish.Very good value, not for everyone since they only offer one menu item, but we enjoy it.
